The 2024 Summer Olympics (French: Les Jeux olympiques d’été de 2024), known as the Games of the 33rd Olympiad (French: Jeux de la XXXIIIe Olympiade) and Paris 2024, will be an international sporting event taking place in Paris from July 26 to August 11, 2024. Having already hosted the 1900 and 1924 Olympic Games, Paris will become the second city to host the Olympic Games three times, after London (1908, 1948, 2012). 2024 will mark the centenary of the 1924 Summer Olympics it previously hosted and will be the sixth Olympics hosted by France (three Summer and three Winter Olympics).
