The Silver Collectible Coin with the theme “100 Years since the Foundation of the Athens University of Economics and Business”

The silver collector coin, minted in 2020, is the first coin of a Greek university institution and the first coin to be issued, which has three sides, a new technique of the Bank of Greece’s Banknote and Securities Printing Institute (BSI). One side of the coin is printed with the latent image technique. This is an innovative printing method that allows, under a different viewing angle, another image to appear.

The Athens University of Economics and Business secured 3,000 coins for distribution.
