This collectible 2 euro coin is dedicated to the Archaeological Site of Philippi, one of the most significant archaeological sites in Greece.
Released in 2017 by the Bank of Greece, the coin features the Early Christian Basilica B, one of the most emblematic parts of the site’s ruins. Basilica B was founded by Apostle Paul and is the first Christian church on European soil.
