2€ Euro Greece 2015 – 30th Anniversary of the European Flag – 19 Countries 19 Coins

Official commemorative 2 euro coin dedicated to the ’30th Anniversary of the European Flag’. The coin is in brilliant uncirculated (BU) condition and was issued by the Bank of Greece in 2015.

This coin marks the fourth time that Eurozone members have decided to issue a common commemorative coin. The first three common commemorative coins were issued in 2007 (for the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome), in 2009 (for the 10th anniversary of the Economic and Monetary Union), and in 2012 (for the 10th anniversary of the euro circulation).

The coin’s design is the work of George Stamatopoulos, one of the most famous coin designers in Greece. His creation uniquely captures European history and the evolution of the European Union. This coin is more than a simple piece of metal; it is a piece of history that can add value to any collection of collectible coins.
