2 Euro, Portugal, 50 years since the Revolution of April 25, 2024

ΕOfficial commemorative coin of 2 euros, weight 8.5 grams, diameter 25.75mm and quality bright uncirculated (BU) issued by Portugal with the theme 50 years since the April 25th Revolution.

In the center is engraved a carnation as a symbolic representation of the revolution of April 25, 1974, surrounded by circles. On the right is written the verse “Esta é a maduraca que eu esperava” mtf This is the dawn I’ve been waiting for from the poem “O Nome das Coisas” – The name of things by the poet “Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen”. The coin was designed by Henrique Cayatte.
