The inner part of the coin features the portraits of these two men above the flag of Luxembourg against a sunset backdrop. Henri has been the Grand Duke of Luxembourg since October 7, 2000, to the present day. He is the son of Grand Duke Jean and his full name is Henri Albert Gabriel Félix Marie Guillaume. Prince Guillaume is the eldest son of Grand Duke Henri and Maria Teresa. Following his father’s enthronement in 2000, he is first in the line of succession. He married a Belgian countess in 2012. Luxembourg is a founding member of the European Union and the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU).
